"Sassy" was owned by Dana for 15 wonderful years. My parents purchased Sassy for me for for Christmas in
1989. She was my very first horse and the start of the dream of Field Favorite Arabians. Sassy was everything a
young girl could want, everything she was and decided to be. She was a race horse, a speed horse, a halter horse, a pleasure
horse. Whatever she was told to be, she was. Our favorite things to do was to go trail riding and ride in parades.
.
Sassy had the most loving, and goofy personality. She also had a very interesting appetite. I
would often bring "city slicker" friends out to ride, and expirence the horsey life. At one point a friend had brought a bag
of cool ranch doritos, I forgot to mention that they were one of Sassy's favorite treats. As he was holding the bag Sassy
came up behind him, and stuck her head right in the bag to help herself to a little snack. Then, one Thanksgiving the
dinner rolls came out solid as hockey pucks, Sassy was happy to eat them. Also, a batch of Christmas fudge that came out more
than a little dry made it's way to Sassy's stocking.

More than anything Sassy was my best friend in the whole world. She was the best secret keeper, the best shoulder to
cry on. When ever I needed some time away from the real world, Sassy could take me to a place with no worrys. I want to thank
everyone who made my life with her possible. To Mom and Dad for bringing her into my life. To Aunt Kris for letting me keep
her with you for so many years. To Cheryl Binsfeld, and Karen Karls, to have a place when Kris was in Florida, and living
in town. To Gail Codry of Eden Valley Arabians, for giving me the opportunity to own my wonderful girl. Also to Dr. Paula
of Bay Meadow Equine, for taking such great care of my girl right to the end. Sassy I love you and miss you more than ever!
